Water, light and wind

After I had finished making new art works using marbling technique, everybody became wet with paint so we washed it off all together and I sensed the same wind as in my childhood in the afternoon of a similar summer day that had inspired in me a marvelous future to come later in my life. Originally I planned to create new pieces for men feeling the atmosphere of Yasaka, however, because of rainfall day after day I had to stop making them. Especially the sound of thunder heard on the last day of my stay in Kyoto this time, made me sure to bring my half-finished pieces to my atelier at Musashino and complete them in Tokyo. At Musashino, there was a breeze of romantic aroma and I could create shirts for men with beautiful marbling patterns. I called them aroma of romance as they attracted me very much. A memory of beautiful aroma I had had in my childhood was also revived in my mind. The breeze coming through a window of my atelier seemed to tell me that my dreams would surely be realized. I felt that my new works had commemorated the beginning for every fellow to start living a new life to realize their dreams. Their beauty interwoven with water, light and wind enriched our life and brought us an aroma of dream.
