At Khor Virap monastery
We arrived at Yerevan today at 4:00 am and we are now at Khor Virap monastery. Usually Mt. Ararat is covered by clouds in the afternoon and today it has been cloudy since morning. However it eventually cleared up when we reached here and we enjoy a wonderful view of Mt. Ararat. People say that we are blessed by the mountain that knows Heaven. Everything I see here is wonderful and brilliant. The land of Armenia is indeed waiting for our concert. Khor Virap monastery is located at the foot of Mt. Ararat. And is famous for the story of a saint who endured 13 years of life in prison under this building and his miraculous life made the Armenian king of his day adopt Christianity as the official state religion. Thus Armenia became the first Christian state in the world.
