Today I tried to finish a leaflet for the Idaki Shin concert “ Kokorozashi” to be held on the 1st and the second of November. By chance I opened an album and a photo of St. Simon church in Syria greatly attracted my heart. The fresh wind was revived. I recalled that the desert sunset in Syria looked like a huge rose flower in red. An old Café in the midst of the desert was a tent with a carpet in the style of a local horseman tribe and I enjoyed a delicious tea served there. I envisioned souls of numerous people who kept on praying for well being on the road side.
In Syria the land scape was abruptly changed from a desert to a fertile land in green and the St. Simon church was seen. The saint stayed all his life on top of a stone pillar. This made me speculate over the meaning of human life. I made up my mind to use the photo of the church as I felt that I opened the album not only by chance but guided by something meaningful. I embraced an unknown future and would head for creating an authentic peace. The message in Syria would be clarified in some future. I felt a special wind and souls of people that were reviving now. Unified with souls of people all over the world, I would manifest my determination for realizing peace.
