Wandu castle city

 

At Café Akira Roppongi in Tokyo I held the Keiko Koma documentary salon gathering and today I screened a video work created by Master Idaki Shin whose music made me feel the vast universe, and the brilliantly shining fortification walls of Wandu castle city and greening of trees moved my heart. I felt the presence of a special wind that waved to leaves of trees and I truly felt comfortable and happy as if I were now standing on Wandu castle city. The fact that some fortification walls remained totally untouched was a great joy for me as they expressed the warmth of ancient people and love of living all together. I recalled that I once created a poem there when I had visited the Wandu castle city for the first time in the year 1998. I wrote that people were just happy living together with their fellow people.
I was grateful to be able to watch the video and experience the life of ancient people after two thousand years in Japan. These days I became more conscious of the deep relationship between Koguryo and Japan. I was paving a path together with souls of people who had been waiting for the arrival of the era of the truth. I was happy to have realized that my homeland was full of love and warmth at heart. This was a great encouragement. Owing to Master Idaki Shin who had filmed the truth of my ancestor’s land and created special music that manifested the soul of Koguryo’s people, we could encounter their souls that were resurrected. My heart trembled and was greatly moved by encountering my most cherished ancestors and I would pave a way for a marvelous future and realize the deepest wishes of humankind.

I wondered if anyone knew this special wind
That carried the warmth of having lived all together
Under any difficult circumstances.
We swore to be unified forever.
We lived on.
2000 years have passed,
Transcending time.
We have gotten together and encountered.
Everybody’s souls were being resurrected now.
