Wind of Mt. Gojo

 

It was when I went to Mt. Gojo for the first time that I received the CD sample for my publication entitled “To be with all your soul” and today I listened to it after a long absence that invited a gentle spring wind with a touch of nostalgia and romance as the memory of my trip to the land of my ancestors was revived in my mind. I was excited at heart with tension and envisioned a glorious light with hope for the future as I listened to the CD for the first time. The melody made me feel a romantic world of dreams that has always been resonating within my heart. Actually I travelled through historic places of Koguryo embracing the music at heart. It was in May and a fresh wind was flowing around while I envisioned my home that I had cherished within my mind since childhood. Though in reality it was my first time to see the landscape of Koguro’s land I had always embraced it as the mind-scape of my homeland.
When I visited the tomb of king Kotai peony flowers were blooming and a light-scape of ancient times was revived. I felt that these flowers knew ancient Koguryo. The special wind of Koguryo in May was revived when my heart was filled with the joy of having visited historic sites of my ancestors.
Today at the Café Akira Roppongi we held the salon gathering and watched a video of Mt. Gojo filmed and edited by Master Idaki Shin. Trees were waving to a wind and I could feel the sound of each leaf. My heart trembled with joy that I did not know how to express in words as I felt that the founder of Koguryo, king Tomei should have known the landscape and atmosphere in ancient times. The fortification wall made of stones looked solid, pure and strong and represented the beautiful spirituality of Koguryo. My soul was greatly impressed. While we were living in an era of great transformation each stone addressed me to encourage me always to go forwards. I corrected myself and felt obliged to them.
Thanks to today’s experience of feeling the atmosphere of Mt. Gojo, I am now heading for the four day Idaki Shin concert to be held in Tokyo with the view to create a new human world for the sake of everybody on earth to live on. I wished to share the joy of attending the concert with as many people as possible.
