Human internality is one
Somebody presented me a Syrian Baklava sweet and its fragrance made me recall each moment when I was in Syria. On the first visit I was impressed by the cultural and historic aroma that dominated the lounge of our hotel with a traditional café. I became quite inspired and creative. I spent all day long mourning the pains and sadness of barbarous acts depriving the life of others.
While I had many intimate friends in Lebanon I sincerely wished to open up a path to break through extremely difficult circumstances under gunfire. Many human lives have been lost. So I kept on holding the Idaki Shin concert and transmitted every concert by Internet live streaming. By coincidence Prof. Ghazi mailed me a letter from Lebanon on the same day as I received Syrian Baklava sweets. There was a TV documentary program about Palestinian people and also yesterday the new ambassador of Lebanon called us and we fixed an appointment. These signs from the Middle East countries made me recall days I had spent in Lebanon and Syria. Having experienced the Idaki counseling courses and concerts, I realized that the internality of every human being was one. Though I am living in Japan my heart remains attached to the Middle East countries, always thinking about a way to break through the miserable situations, so my heart is unified with hearts of my friends living there as I know that as long as there is someone that considers the circumstance of others as a part of one’s own life a solution will always be provided. My heart for my friends is shared with them. This is a great hope for realizing a global peace and I will move forward.
