Landscape
Though my father has been dead
I envisioned that he was walking along the Kamogawa River,
At Higashiyama,
At Mt. Hiei.
I envisioned a long history
In Mt. Komagatake,
In Mt. Yatsugatake.
I envisioned my ancestors who had immigrated and lived in Japan
As I moved around traces of Koma people that can be found at many corners of Japan.
Sad history is now embraced by light.
Darkness has been wiped away,
To uncover the brilliantly shining souls of people
Who had dedicated their life for coming generations.
They are always present.
Mountains in Japan.
Trees.
Fields.
I envisioned souls of my ancestors.
