The Yasaka tower and stars

 

As I looked up at the Yasaka tower the extremely pure and transparent blue sky was wide open over Heaven, or the tower was floating over the blue sky. This light-scape was a very impressive historic one. I closely felt the soul of my ancient ancestors who had lived here that taught me about the most precious and mysterious nature of human life, and my life trembled. They were together with us all the time like gathering stars in the night sky. I yearned for souls of people who had also seen this historic light-scape that connected my life transcending a great elapse of time and I felt greatly obliged to this.
Under the guard by the Yasaka tower and shining stars I always held once a month the gathering of poems of life at the Koma gallery Café and as I narrated my poems I felt the presence of many souls of people who had keenly listened to me. They manifested a vision that shall be realized in some future and I wondered what would be today’s poetic expression. These days I envisioned a blue light in the sky that looked pure and in supreme beauty. I was taught to live a pure life like this vision.
Then we could have a special gathering around handmade dishes prepared by Master Idaki Shin on the first floor. It was the supreme moment of life for everybody and I was extremely grateful to him. I realized that souls of my ancient ancestors were also very happy and shedding tears of joy. This supreme happiness was indeed connected to an eternal world. I could not thank anyone enough in words. Everything was very special and had never happened in human history in the past. I was glad to be provided with this special opportunity every month to get together with my fellow friends around Master Idaki Shin to share this supreme happiness. I was also grateful to be a contemporary of Master Idaki Shin having encountered him. I would live a vigorous life and keep on creating a new world for every human being to live on in happiness.
