Following the habit of my father who passed away and used to select a day with the number “1” I had started to stage the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert on the 11th January 2001 as I wished to share my heart with people all over the world. Actually people welcomed this and I came to hold my concert in various part of the world. Also today my concert was diffused to the Middle east countries, India and the Balkan peninsula by internet live transmission. The sound of Koma flute of Koguryo knew the truth of history and the music played by Master Idaki Shin and especially the sound of drums expressed something about the founder of Koguryo king Tomei who had to leave his homeland in the darkness of night and built a new dynasty for people to live a happy life. The truth of Koguryo was fully received by him and was manifested. Nothing was more fortunate than this. When I held the concert abroad I narrated poems that expressed voices of Great Mother Earth and souls of people from a historic land. People appreciated them saying that only those who inherited thousands years of its history could create such expression as I did. People living in a land full of sadness felt grateful to my poems that were truthful to the historic truth and shed tears out of joy and great impressions. I realized that human beings could help each other by mutually acknowledging the truth and living on. The music by Master Idaki Shin fully received the sadness and love of people who have lived in one place and its history so that their souls would be rewarded and revived. In reality my ancestor’s souls were resurrected owing to him who expressed the truth of its history and now they were vividly working with me; souls of people who lived in the past were fully nursed and those alive were greatly encouraged. The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert manifested this and I wished to share it with people all over the world.
