Komaya

Our new shop in Kyoto, “Komaya”, was facing the south corner of Kyoto imperial palace, and as I had envisioned in my night dream, it looked like my home that would welcome my cherished guests. I created Koguryo’s room as well. Though I have been extremely busy, I enjoyed working on the interior decorations and installations and forgot a lapse of time. Komaya was not a mere coffee shop nor a gallery space but a speciality shop for my Keiko Koma selections. I would keep on creating a world, and globally diffuse it. That would make everybody happy and vigorous. The Koma sign board was manifested to celebrate its opening. Tonight’s full moon also blessed us.
