Soul

The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Komae was performed all by improvisation, music, poems and video projection. Today I held its video screening, and I was surrounded by a wind of Koguryo and encountered souls of Koguryo as if I were traveling back to an ancient time in Koguryo’s dynasty. The improvisational music played by Mr. Idaki Shin expressed souls of Koguryo, so my soul was greatly moved and I shed tears. I realized the truth by my own life. Their soul was not gone and eternal.
Especially when I encountered souls of Koguryo’s warriors who had fought with their most cherished king at the risk of their lives, I acknowledged that we were also living in an era of war like a situation, and we should correct ourselves not to be careless and be prepared for anything and create a future so that coming generations would be allowed to live on. Like this we would realize how we would move forward without losing our lives while Mr. Idaki Shin has always been fighting at the risk of his life against a state of human life that damaged oneself and other people as well. For my part I used to suffer, and fell down by receiving negative influences and pains of other people, so I should have considered this situation as being attacked by others if I were living in a time of war. However, I have patiently waited for others to correct themselves as I believed that human nature would guide every person to a right direction. But today I realized that our way of fighting against enemies was not to destroy them, but to keep on creating a new way for us to live on. As I would do so at the risk of my own life, I became capable to clearly see who was my enemy and who was on my side, and for the sake of coming generations to survive, we should change frameworks of a society that has been sacrificing precious human lives while a truly good society should be built by each individual. Today I realized this simple fact at the core of my heart and soul while I felt as if I were fighting with ancient warriors manifested in the video. Today’s screening of the Idaki Shin improvisational concert provided me with a precious encounter with the truth and Great Being. I swore to create a truly human society for everybody to live on, and keep on moving forward as if I were on a battlefield.
