Authentic spring
Happy New Year from Kyoto where an early spring wind has come on a chilly night. A word was born from my internality that was an authentic spring. However difficult our actual world was, life in nature was full of new vigor. The voice of joy was carried by a wind of authentic spring.
At the Koma gallery Cafe in Kyoto we celebrated New Year with rice cake, sweet red beans and pickles made by Mr. Idaki Shin. They were all full of holy energies for us to live on in a new era. I was happy to share the happiness of having them with many people in Yasaka.
In the inner garden, in front of the Koma sign board made of calligraphy, we displayed our original miso, pickles and sable sweets all specially hand made by Mr. Idaki Shin. In the gallery space on the second floor, my new art works were displayed. They were designed to express an authentic spring and arrival of an era of the truth when we would be able to manifest our true nature to the rest of the world. In this respect I wished that people would enjoy wearing my marbling and art dresses that best suited one. In the past I created mind-scape art pieces mainly for women, but in a new era I created half of them for men.
I also created special treasure boxes with messages of souls that were made of Japanese traditional paper with marbling. I sensed an aroma of a beautiful princess and herbal green. My soul was greatly moved when I was displaying them. I felt the presence of souls of ancient kings and people who had built a new dynasty. I could not resist opening each box many times and it took me a lot of time. An authentic spring was full of joy while this year should become the beginning of an era of the truth. Thank you very much.
