Spring

Spring has come in this land of forty degree north altitude and birds were freely flying over the sky and singing beautifully in harmony with spring wind. In the garden of my fellow staff member’s atelier Japanese butterbur, crocus and Fukuju were in bloom. Herbal flavored rice cakes that my staff had bought in the morning market were very big and rich in fragrance of spring. So I raised a cheer out of joy and then repeated it within my mind as I was greatly touched by the brilliantly shining spring. Marbling art works I created there were also extremely beautiful and I was looking forward to showing them to many people and appreciating the joy of welcoming spring in this land of the north. In a beautiful land like here, beautiful art works were naturally generated. The landscape with river that I saw through the window of my home was brilliantly shining under the sun. I envisioned that our future would be glorious. As I looked up the night sky stars were also brilliantly shining. I felt as if I could reach them as I stretch my hands toward them. I enjoyed watching them as they showed me a marvelous vision of hope for our future.
