Light-scape of my homeland
After the Idaki Shin concert held yesterday, the view seen through a window of my home looked completely changed as if everything were reborn. The water surface was brilliantly shining, looked crystal pure and beautiful. A supreme joy was born within my life. I appreciated the arrival of a new era and raised a voice of cheers. I took out my camera and quite naturally started to create a poem about my homeland as the beautiful light-scape was doubled with that of my ancestor’s land that was situated at forty degrees north latitude. I thought that this new light of glory that was provided here would also be provided at my homeland on the mainland as I knew that the expression by Mr. Idaki Shin would be diffused all over the world. Life in nature such as trees, mountains and rivers etc. always taught me about the arrival of a new era. Human beings would also be allowed to live a new life.
From Lebanon, home of my soul, Mr. Ghazu and the mayor of the city of Tyre sent me a message of condolence for the one year anniversary of the Tohoku disaster and also from Georgia I received another one. So our heart was truly unified and people all over the world should create an authentic peace. Human life connected to life in nature would surely create our future and I was glad to have welcomed a new day in the morning.
Beautiful mountains and
Brilliantly shining water surface
Made me recall my dearest homeland.
I would live on embracing this at heart.
A new life
Full of glorious light
Showed me a path of hope
That led to my homeland.
