Beautiful Koma people

I drove through snow falls on the way to arrive in Kyoto and it was raining. I went out from the back gate of the Koma gallery Café and walked on to greet the Yasaka tower. As I closed my eyes I envisioned beautiful Koma people in the darkness who were standing and looked pure and vigorous. I could utter a word, nothing but that they were beautiful. In the darkness of night and being wet under rain, however, I envisioned a light-scape of aroma of spring and its fresh and nursing atmosphere. My heart became wide open as I realized that our future would be glorious. Meanwhile in the kitchen of the Koma gallery Café, our staff have been vigorously engaged in making pickles that I considered as a new business for rebuilding our country. I felt as if I were back to ancient Koguryo dynasty’s era and preparing food for my fellow people on the foot of Mt. Gojo. Then I felt like building a fortification wall on top of the mountain to protect my fellows. This was a sensation of building the foundation for a new dynasty. I realized that to my great gratitude and joy I was not alone and Great Being was with me. Last night in reality I had created a poem before I went to bed that expressed a light-scape of people who established the foundation out of stones for a new dynasty. My poems of life always expressed the state of my life that was heading for a marvelous future. Therefore today’s activities in our kitchen at Yasaka demonstrated this. I smiled at the scene and bore a great hope for the future. I envisioned that I was creating a world that would allow each person to express one’s earnest wishes and to achieve them in reality so that everybody would live on in happiness. Thank you very much.
