Beginning

The snowing holy night of Christmas eve that we spent with my fellow staff in the place that had the fortieth latitude on earth was an unforgettable one as I held a special gathering to talk about our dreams for the new year under a grim light in the land of the north. I was amazed with joy as we were unexpectedly lively and animated. I realized that we have always been living in a new era. Especially I was glad as Mr. Idaki Shin improvisationally played the piano expressing the soul of the founder of Koguryo, king Tomei, which was one of my dreams. Attentively I listened to the precious music note after note, prayed that this moment should last forever and became deeply satisfied. My soul trembled, my blood became feverish and I was filled with joy and vigor so that I had to refrain from exclaiming my joy by holding my hands upwards. The music was indeed extremely beautiful and I was greatly moved by the strong spirituality of Koguryo that was musically expressed by Mr. Idaki Shin. I realized the moment of the birth of Koguryo and a new state of life for overcoming the closing of Koguryo, the eternal nature of souls was revived and my life was totally renewed as if I were reborn. The Holy night became indeed a special one and commemorated a beginning of new life. The special light provided to Koguryo at its birth was revived and I was filled with vigor to head for the future. In my home in Morioka there were many photos of snow-covered Mt. Gojo photographed by Mr. Idaki Shin with my message in calligraphy and they always moved my heart as if time had stopped. They were indeed marvelous and noble photos with an aroma of history. They should remain forever as great works. My soul trembled. I was extremely grateful as I could installed these awesome photos in my own room. I corrected the state of my life as I watched them that manifested the truth, ultimate beauty and an eternal world. Owing to the piano played by Mr. Idaki Shin I could revive original vigor of Koguryo and new powers for overcoming its negative destiny of coming to an end. The glory of Koguryo was indeed revived. These photos were also telling about this. I was extremely grateful as I could make a new beginning.
