Castle on a planed land

As I envisioned that next year would witness the death or life crisis for humankind, I was determined to work more than ever to open up a new human era. In the new year we would hold four concerts in Tokyo for two days, the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert and Idaki Shin solo concert, ”My determined heart”. To commemorate the beginning of the most critical year, I selected a photo of mine standing at the first castle built on a planed land by the founder of Koguryo, king Tomei, as it had appeared in my mind. This photo was of course taken by Mr. Idaki Shin and I could not imagine using another photo for the coming Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert. I recalled that on the third of March in the year 2010, I visited the first capital of Koguryo, Mt. Gojo, in Kanjin prefecture, Liaoning province, China, and it was covered with snow. I enjoyed walking through chilly morning air and arrived at the ruin of the first castle that was brilliantly shining under clear light. Actually I knew this place without being taught by anyone. Every time as I passed by the planed land, my heart was greatly moved, filled with nostalgia so as to shed tears by myself. I closed my eyes and listened to messages from Mother Earth. Nothing by sadness of women was heard. I realized that Shumou, later king Tomei, had built his first castle and started his dynasty in order to create a society that allowed women to give birth to and cherish babies without being oppressed or threatened by any outer forces. Koguryo was born so that everybody could live on in happiness, now that two thousand years have passed and I was opening up a new human era at this end together with souls of people in the past.
