In Morioka

At night in Morioka, a photo frame I had installed at my house greatly attracted me. This was a photo of snow-covered Mt. Gojo taken by Mr. Idaki Shin that I added my calligraphy to in black paint that read “In snow covered Mt. Gojo, king Tomei was walking along and the true history has manifested itself.“ This was what I had envisioned as a light-scape of king Tomei walking towards me in the snow-covered mountain path. My heart was greatly moved as a light-scape of ancient Koguryo dynasty was projected in my mind. When I stood on a land that had a long history, eyes of my internality could visualize a light-scape of the remote past and usually I created a poem expressing voices of souls of ancient people who had lived there. In such a moment I became awakened to the meaning of my life and tremendously moved to have realized a mysterious nature of human life. When I climbed the snow covered Mt. Gojo, the snow had covered everything artificially and newly made by modern people and only fortification walls that were constructed by ancient Koguryo people were visible to manifest the light-scape of ancient times. My soul trembled at the sight and my eyes became filled with tears as I watched the fortification walls. Then I envisioned king Tomei who was walking through trees towards me and my life was unified with him. A special gust of wind has visited my life. This was the moment of a great encounter with the truth of Koguryo that would become visible to everybody at a later stage. Tonight, the photo frame in my house in Morioka told me about this.
