Keiko Koma father documentary salon

In the year two thousand for the first time in my life I visited Ethiopia and I carried with me a video camera as I wished to film the activities of Mr. Idaki Shin. I concentrated filming him expecting that people who would watch this video would understand his great work. At the town of Gode where even animals were starving out of drought, all of us were desperately working at each mission as we were few in number. When we went to the Gode hospital, many children were lying on the ground just with a rag instead of sheets or bed. At this miserable sight, for a while I became lost wondering whether or not I could film them. Then Mr. Idaki Shin told me with a confirming voice that I should not watch them but enter among them. As soon as I did so children who had been lying on the floor suffering from malaria, gathered around me with brilliantly smiling faces, jumped up to express their joy. While the eyesight connected to my consciousness usually separated what I saw from my life, once we got together and remained at the center, we could understood each other. I realized that human life was connected to each other and always living all together. This was happening in my life and I found myself a cameraman and quite naturally filmed them.
On returning to Japan I came to hold a gathering at the Café Akira Roppongi to watch my video and discuss it. Because only few out of those who went to Ethiopia joined me as far as Gode and the majority waited for us in Addis Ababa, my video greatly impressed them, saying that they felt as if they were together with me in Gode. Then many people started to consider our projects in Ethiopia as their own and kept on supporting us. Since then I have been holding video salon gatherings under the name of “Keiko Koma father documentary salon”. And today I screened my video I had filmed in India as soon as we came back to Japan. Everybody there seemed to greatly enjoy watching it as if all of us had traveled to India with me. For my part, I could deepen my experience in India and better understand the importance of our concert project. Mr. Idaki Shin said that in order to overcome the global problem of poverty and to create a truly peaceful world all we had to do was raise our ability ten percent by enriching our internality. At the Idaki Shin counseling courses and concerts, I have always experienced that I became liberated from every unnecessary thing in my life and new powers were coming up from within my life seamlessly to acknowledge a better state of life. Especially in all of his concerts, one could always realize that one’s internality was indeed connected to the vast universe. When our internality remained rich, our life became filled with vigor to achieve anything. This was a truly creative life. Everybody could realize this and raise one’s ability. I envisioned that our concert in India would drastically and positively change the situation of the world and came to better acknowledge its meaning. Thank you very much.
