Sadness was changed into love
On the television in my room at home there was a scene of the Amnokwang river from the DVD of the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Iran. Next to it there was an arch shaped calligraphy work that I had dyed in Kyoto and that read “The surface of a great river was brilliantly shining and sadness was changed into love”. My heart was greatly moved. At the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Fukui, together with many people I realized this message and that everything would become upside down and downside up. Each of our concerts provided people with the precious experience of realizing that sadness in history could be changed into love and with great hope a marvelous future was wide open. I recalled that when I had visited around disaster hit areas and introduced the activities of NPO KOMA, to my great surprise, many people showed their interest in Koguryo. My volunteer staff who have been working in Morioka told me the same thing. Then I started to think over a historic link between Iwate and Koguryo. However, I anticipated that in my coming concert at Morioka, everything would become clear. Not to mention that my concert was not exclusively about Koguryo, but it was designed to express a marvelous spirituality that was common among ancient civilizations all over the world. I came to realize this as I have been visiting important historic sites of the world. At the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, I narrated poems about souls of people who had manifested Heaven on Earth while Mr. Idaki Shin fully accepted the state of life of the city. We were giving a concert, expressing it into the music, emancipating souls of people and resurrecting them. When people encountered the truth they usually burst into tears. This provided me with a great hope as I acknowledged that every human being’s heart and soul was one. The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held abroad for the first time took place in Tyre, Lebanon, the ancient Phoenician city dating back nine thousands years and every spectator was greatly moved and shed tears. Next morning, this was reported at the front page of a Lebanese newspaper. I vividly remember that towards the finale the souls of Phoenician people all over the world got together like a big wave, everybody stood up, shed tears and exclaimed bravo. I was completely lost before an unexpected incident. Time and space had disappeared and I hardly kept on standing, resisting being blown away by a storming energy of souls of people. This concert was highly appreciated as a true path for creating an authentic peace by providing people with a great experience at heart. So we came to hold the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert in various countries in Middle East. In Russia I narrated a poem expressing the arrival of a great moment when sadness to have been separated from fellow people in ancient times was changed into love. Many Russians shed tears with me. I heard that many Koguryo’s people had taken refuge after the destruction of the dynasty. So that was a very historic moment. Likewise I envisioned the truth of history in the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Fukui. My soul became fully awakened to the truth. When many people came to acknowledge this I was sure that an authentic peace all over the world would be realized. The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert to be held in the Tohoku area would be full of new experiences and a new world would become wide open before us. My life became fully prepared and my heart was greatly excited.
