New world
At today’s salon gathering held at Café Akira, I watched a video of Wandu castle city created by Mr. Idaki Shin whose music made me realize the vast universe and my life trembled. The scene of its mountain fortification wall of Koguryo jumped into my eyes and made my soul tremble. Though I have watched this video many times, today I felt as if I had seen this for the first time as every scene moved my heart and gave me a fresh impact. My life realized that a new world became wide open. At yesterday’s Idaki counseling courses, we clarified and overcame the state of standing still without taking any action and just watching the situation. So I felt that we have overcome the limitation of consciousness of modern man who objectified even one’s own life. I recalled that in the early days of our Idaki counseling courses, when there came a person who just observed what was going on and did not take any action, I screamed out of sadness and told such person that any human being would immediately jump into the sea if one saw a child who was about to be swallowed by sea waves. No human being would argue or observe before the crisis of a child. I said with tearful eyes that one would not evaluate or calculate one’s ability to save other person’s life but take an immediate action. In an emergency case like this, a person would naturally take an appropriate measure. I took it for granted that all one had to do was to keep on doing so until the goal would be achieved. At my lecture event entitled “ To be with all your soul” that took place all over Japan, I always said the same thing when I was asked by an attendant about a secret for realizing one’s sincere wishes in one’s own life. As a sincere and deepest wish of a person was the true demand of life, one could never forget or neglect it. For me this was a question of life or death. To live on but oppressing my own deepest wishes was like being a dead person. To live for expressing and realizing one’s deepest wishes was an authentic human life that would never sacrifice another person’s life. Life in nature taught me that one life would most brilliantly shine when other lives were also brilliantly shining and lived in harmony all together. I was filled with joy as I realized this in my life. I could never stop living in this manner. This was also the principle of NPO KOMA. So it was the time for us to realize our goal. Autumn in Japan was a season for giving a lot of fruits, so wishing to contribute to rebuilding our country, I planned to stage the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert at various part of Japan, starting from Kyoto on the 18th of October and then to Fukui on the 19th , Hirosaki on the 24th and Morioka on the 25th. An audience would realize the crossroad of a vertical and horizontal axis of history within one’s internality. I called this a special event that made people awaken to start living at the center of history. Placing onself at the center of history any human being would surely and naturally awaken to the truth. I was grateful for the arrival of a wonderful new era that would allow every person to develop one’s inner potential, live a vigorous life, and open up one’s future by oneself.
