Landscape of my homeland

The photos of a Koguryo’s historic site with trees waving to wind that I installed in my bedroom in my new apartment in Morioka, shook my soul so I decided to install the same photos in my new residence in Kyoto. I called them photos of my homeland. Wherever I was, these photos made me realize the mission of my life. Meanwhile, today I enjoyed doing installation of mind-scape art works at our new office in Morioka, NPO KOMA Tohoku Center. I dedicated one of its corner spaces for Keiko Koma poem books wishing that people would enjoy reading them in peace. I was filled with happiness and gratitude as I was doing something I loved to do out of pure reason. I was sure that this would open up a marvelous future, while these landscapes of my homeland made me greatly moved so as to shed tears, gave me a tremendous energy, and animated my heart. I was looking forwards to receiving many people for my coming mind-scape drawing exhibition. At night I would hold a video screening event and show videos of Reika to the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert. As I changed the installation of our new space every day, it was a hard job, however it deserved our taking pains as we were trained to achieve things in a more rapid manner. I sincerely wished to share the precious experience of acknowledging the richness of our internality, and discover the source of energy for opening up our future. The 11th of September was the six month commemorative day after the North Eastern Japan disaster. I would never stop contributing to people in need of help. This was the reason why I had opened our new office in Tohoku. I wished that our activities would bear a lot of fruits.
