Father of Koguryo

As I watched the DVD of the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in Teheran, Iran, and listened to a poem entitled “Father of Koguryo” accompanied by the sound of the Koma flute played by Mr. Idaki Shin, I envisioned that king Tomei was walking towards us on the top of a fortification wall of snow covered Mt. Gojo that was screened at the concert. I heard that it was the very first time with my concert in the Islamic republic of Iran after the revolution that both male and female audience were allowed to sit together before a female performer on stage. This alone had a historic meaning, however, I realized that its content manifested the depth of history as it expressed the time to fulfill people’s deepest wishes. I recalled that one day in my night dream I was reading the poem “Father of Koguryo” accompanied by the music of the Koma flute played by Mr. Idaki Shin exactly in the way we did at the concert in Teheran. For some reason I always brought with me its DVD and watched it every day while I was moving around disaster hit areas in Tohoku and working for their recovery process. As I watched it, it always made me realize a new higher dimension of the world and provided me an answer to any problems, as if it were a message coming from the universe that I had never been able to imagine. I realized that our way unified with Great Being was indeed perfect and extremely beautiful. It opened up our future without sacrificing anyone’s life. It was not until today that I acknowledged the reason why I brought the DVD with me and watched it every day. The new world expressed at the concert was indispensable for paving an authentic way for recovering people’s life. We were heading for the Idaki Shin memorial concert to be held in disaster hit Kamaishi city as a means to contribute to people, as one we had held in Yamada town was greatly appreciated by many people who unanimously said with tears of joy that after the concert they became liberated from heavy energies imposed on their body. The face of a person was still vividly in my mind who told me that he had been anxious about what had happened to other family members who had lost their lives and had been suffering pains at heart and also around his neck and shoulders and after the concert all the concerns and pains were miraculously wiped away. The extreme joy of people who were liberated from heavy grievances and pains was indeed very impressive and unforgettable though they could not fully express it in words. I was confident that everybody who came to know its meaning and power would love to come to experience our concert. I sincerely wished to have everybody’s participation at our coming concert in Kamaishi.
