Ouryokou river

In the Japanese traditional room in my new apartment in Morioka I installed an arch shape calligraphy frame that looked like a view of Ouryokou river from a historic site of ancient Koguryo as at the inner garden of Koma gallery Café Yasaka I dyed its Washi paper with marbling in the deep color of the great river in the mainland situating at the border between North Korea and China. Also the two cups that I had named the birth of a star, were in the same color with a different design. My soul trembled as its layers of deep color expressed a long history and code to read the truth for me to discover my way. Both cups were placed together and one manifested a secret of Great Being. I recalled that in a poem that I read at the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, I expressed that I had decided to open our spot in Kyoto wishing to create a new moment in history for our Mother Earth when people would freely move around as in the ancient time before the Ouryokou river became the border separating two nations, when people could freely cross the river every day and lived a happy life. By coincidence, Morioka city was situated at the same latitude as Pyongyang city of North Korea. I realized that Great Being was guiding my way for realizing an authentic peace all over the world that was my deepest wish. In my heart I embraced the color of Ouryokou river as an symbolic one for creating a marvelous future.
