Mt. Gojo

I felt as if I were at Mt. Gojo every time when I sat and closed my eyes in front of a Koma calligraphy installed on the basement floor of the Keiko Koma Skyrocket center as I could envision young king Shumou smiling at me and brilliantly shining on top of the mountain. In an invisible world, a new world became wide open and I realized that we had started to live an eternal life. The original spirituality for building Koguryo’s dynasty became a pole of light that was brilliantly shining in a world far beyond the universe. Koguryo was composed of two characters. The first one, Kou, signified Heaven while the second, Rei, represented a couple of male and female deer as the most beautiful image on earth, together with which symbolized the spirituality for building a new dynasty. Now that an infinite world far beyond the universe became wide open to us, I realized the meaning of a message I had received from Koguryo’s ancient kings that I narrated in a poem at the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, that was that they knew that a dynasty would never be prosperous without opening a world far beyond Heaven. In reality when I visited Mt. Gojo I realized that ancient Koguryo’s kings had lived their lives connected to a world far beyond Heaven within their heart as they knew the limit of Heaven in their era when war had frequently happened and they had to build a castle on a steep mountain. Therefore their souls were celebrating the arrival of this new era when their most wished for world far beyond Heaven became wide open. Every king’s common dream was being realized and they were not only encouraging us but also collaborating all together for our activities. I came to witness many times that numerous souls of people in the past trembled and became extremely happy as what I expressed in poems at the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert was manifested in this actual world. I was confident that together with them a tremendous power was generated that would allow me to challenge anything without fear. Life in nature also seemed to teach us about the arrival of a new era. I recalled that at the new year concert event, I had read a poem about the manifestation of a true meaning of my legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert, when I could express something in words that would surely be manifest in the actual world sometime later. And truly now was the time. My life was filled with vigor. For me what I envisioned was a reality of my future every time when I sat in front of a Koma calligraphy board and closed my eyes as I knew that the internal conditions of my life were the cause of outer phenomena around me. The influences of souls of my ancestors revived in an eternal world always changed reality. I became determined to dedicate myself for creating a truly good human society and now this will was brilliantly shining at the core of my life. Thank you very much.
