Sunset in lotus color

Sunset at Mt. Iwaki was lotus color,
Which beautiful light-vision was
Similar to the sunrise at Mt. Pektou or
Sunset at Mt. Sinai, and
Manifested a brilliant moment of life
That invited us to live an eternal life.
Today’s light-vision made me recall that in my teens
I wrote about a lotus flower as a sign of purity.
I had wished to live a romantic life full of dreams
Like that beautiful color of the sky dyed with lotus flowers.
The same light-vision I had envisioned in my teens was revived
Now and here.
At a village of Koma I was surrounded by lotus flowers
That were waving to evening winds and made me shed tears.
The beautiful land of North Eastern Japan was full of human vigor.
A brilliant moment in my life has revived now.
My ancestors should have envisioned the same thing
In company with a lotus flower.
Now I was guided to come here, to North Eastern Japan.
I was discovering the truth on ancient links.
The same wind was blowing now as in the remote past, and in the future as well,
Under this evening sky in lotus color.
I was glad to be provided with a marvelous life.
