Building our country

While I held a meeting with staff members who would go to Morioka with me, we finished producing leaflets for the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert to be held in Morioka on the 25th October with the theme of rebuilding our country. I put them in my car and left Tokyo. Like this we could get together and most efficiently finish many things at the same time. It was time for each person to fully exercise one’s ability for opening up a wonderful future for Japan. These days I recall our concert held in Ethiopia. When I asked what they wished to have, they asked me to drastically change for the better the internal conditions of people instead of money and commodities as the internality of people was the cause of ever perpetuated situation of poverty and hunger in our society. This was how jointly with the government of Ethiopia we co-organized the Idaki Shin concert before an audience of approximately one hundred and ten thousand that was artistically declared from the birthplace of humankind the creation of a new human history of love, and it was also globally broadcast via internet streaming. Since then I realized that our world, society and way of people’s life have indeed greatly changed. It was obvious that many people were in need of immediate support, however, human beings could not live on without a hope for a future. To enrich one’s human sensitivity to open up one’s future, bear hope at heart and always live an internally rich life were essential things for our life. As we were heading for the Idaki Shin concert to be held in Morioka, I was anticipating a great change in Tohoku and a light of hope was lit in my heart.
