New time
After a typhoon I returned to Tokyo and strangely its air and atmosphere were very different from what I knew before. I wondered if the surrounding space was suggesting something in the future, or the world we were living in had completely changed. In any case I said to myself that an answer would be provided sometime in the future. Obviously this year we started to live in a new time as nature itself seemed to have been greatly changed into a new one. Now I could understand very well the messages delivered at the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held in October last year in Tiflis and Azerbaijan. Mr. Idaki Shin said that it was time to live in a new time that should be in harmony with nature while time in the past was something artificially made by mankind. At that time I could only understand this through words but now I was realizing the deeper meaning of his message and the impact of the concerts. As I was captured by an artificial framework of time, my body started to suffer, so naturally I was tuning myself to a new time of nature. In reality when I visited a cave city in Azerbaijan dating back more than 30,000 years ago and other ancient historic sites all over the world, I realized that ancient people used to be very dynamic as they were unified with nature. I also recalled that when I went to an excavation spot of the oldest human being’s bones dating back four and a half million years ago and being myself accustomed to a modern society I was almost screaming on account of the ferocious heat of the region. At his concert held in Ethiopia he projected a big image of the excavation site and human bones and expressed a new human spirituality than had entered into my heart and made me filled with warmth while in Addis Ababa it was very cold . Since then, I told people that his concert made us realize a completely new experience just by sitting in a seat instead of challenging a very difficult and severe trip to a desert where the temperature was incredibly high as if burning my body, no food to eat and only horizon could be seen on the way. Now I welcomed the arrival of a new era that was unified with the time of nature and owing to my experiences of having visited various part of the world, I acknowledged this and my body had been efficiently trained so that I could keep on moving around for opening up a marvelous future of Japan.
