Light-scape with an exquisite aroma

Looking at my new installation works of handmade curtains and tapestries at the Skyrocket  center, I wondered how beautiful future activities would be as I really enjoyed just staying here. My new works were spreading a beautiful aroma with shining red flower petals. When I was touched by them at heart, I realized a message telling about our glorious future, carried by a pleasant wind. When one expressed one’s deepest wishes and manifested light of life at one’s core, one could live a most vigorous and meaningful life. My heart was filled with happiness, and filmed the first interview program surrounded by these new mind-scape art works. This commemorated the start of the Keiko Koma channel and its filming studio that I had decorated by myself. I was looking forwards globally to expressing love guided by the world of souls. The new world was wide open to every creature on earth and each life was allowed to live a happy life harmoniously with others and manifest its own nature without sacrificing the precious life of any creature. Today I faced an incident that showed me that people could produce wonderful products only when they were not controlled by money and outer things. I recalled that I started to create my mind-scape art works wishing safety for my Lebanese friends during the bombing done by the Israeli army that had destroyed many buildings and deprived many people of their precious lives. They considered me as their own family and always received me warmly from the bottom of their heart. So I had to do something facing the disastrous act of war and I started making art objects following a Japanese tradition of making a textile by sewing thousands of times. I envisioned that when one’s internality was shining brilliantly one’s life would be protected, so my art works were not mere objects but were connected to my life. So they were made only for those who shared the same heart as mine, wishing to realize global peace.
