Breezes of Koguryo, photo & poem exhibition

DSCF3738.JPGI was extremely excited to be able to hold a special exhibition of my photos with poems that seemed to show me an unknown wonderful future as each piece greatly attracted my soul. On the 12th of May, one day before my birthday this year I arrived in town on the foot of Mt. Gojo, the birth place of Koguryo’s dynasty. The greening of young leaves of trees was shining brilliantly and refreshed my life. Poplars and willow trees were standing neatly by a river with new buds of lives. I exclaimed that now I was back home. This beautiful scenery was a great joy and encouragement to live on. On the day of my birthday, I climbed up Mt. Gojo and stayed all day long. Yellow lovely flowers were blooming that made me recall dreams in my childhood. I had to climb a very steep cliff, however at the thought of king Tomei, who should have been here, I chinned up and took each step with joy. Everything I saw I cherished. Breezes were carrying souls of my ancestors who lived here two thousands years ago. They were revived transcending time-space to live new lives together with me. On the following day, I moved to Jian city, the ancient capital of Koguryo, and visited the Amnokwang river, a tomb complex, and king Kotai’s inscription. I felt the warmth of people in this land and a large blue sky above mountains surrounding the city was very gentle.DSCF3739.JPG On the 15th May I climbed up to the top of Wandu mountain that had been my dream as I heard there was no road nor sign. Actually I was afraid of entering that untouched mountain Every time when I was about to face a big change in my life I felt big fear so I anticipated that I was going to discover something essential and new in my life. Mr. Idaki Shin told me that king Tomei and king Kot5ai would surely help me, so I made up my mind to enter the mountain. After a while I realized that my soul knew this mountain and animal roads leading up to its top. Indeed the souls of ancient people were together with me and I continued to walk following mysterious instructions provided by the deep bushes and trees. When I saw the top of the mountain I felt extreme happiness and singing birds, sound of breezes and trees were orchestrating my joy and I realized the unity of life with everything around. Each piece of stone wall was also telling me how our life was unified. The spirituality of Koguryo was eternal. On the 16th May, I visited Koguryo’s tomb complex and a pyramid-shaped stone tomb and encountered numerous souls of ancient Koguryo’s people that had been resurrected owing to the presence of Mr. Idaki Shin. Therefore my visit to Koguryo’s historic sites was full of precious experiences of meeting with numerous souls surrounded by beautiful light, trees, breezes and water. I was grateful to everything to be provided with this precious experience in the world of soul and taking after the ancient fortification walls, I decided to install my new photos in the shape of stone walls. I sincerely wish that many people will come to see my exhibition at the basement gallery space of Café Akira in Roppongi to encounter souls and the eternal spirituality of Koguryo. I would like to ask everybody to come to see also a photo exhibition of Mr,. Idaki Shin held on the second floor of the Skyrocket center. His photos were taken at the same places as mine, however they were brilliantly manifesting the resurrection of Koguryo in the midst of the vast universe and in the world three stages before the Big Bang. Both exhibitions are manifesting a great romanticism of human history.
