To move ahead

During my journey to Koguryo’s historic sites in China, we discussed many times the possibility of realizing the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert in either Jiian or in Kanjin. Our Chinese guide Mr. Wang had already consulted with the authorities but so far there was no way. However as we continued to discuss it repeatedly we came to the  idea of realizing it with a different approach. Mr. Idaki Shin said that never to give up was the most important thing for finally achieving our goal. Though there were some obstacles, I was sure of our cultural way to build bridges among people in East Asian countries. In Kanjin and Jiian many drastic changes happened. When I visited these places for the first time there was no hot water nor electricity at night. However, this time, I could take a hot bath every day and send my messages with photos and video footage by Internet. I felt everything was preparing for our concert and welcoming our audience from Japan. I have experienced many things by visiting many historic sites of my ancestor and I have acknowledged the truth for opening up a new history of humankind
