Blown by a gust of breeze at Yasaka

In the afternoon under a magnificent view of the Yasaka tower I created art scarves using a marbling technique and worked with water and paints to make spontaneous and dramatic patterns. My staff were very moved at each of them and raised their voice in cheers. Many people passing in the street looked into our shop, took pictures and entered into the garden attracted by them beautifully waving in the air as I put them on poles to dry and named them “Wind of Koma”. When one person made a right choice and selected the most suitable scarf and put it on she looked pure and transparent like a heavenly angel. Everybody there applauded with great appreciation. It was natural that all the women loved a beautiful thing. So my scarf moved everyone as its dramatic patterns expressed a great romanticism of history. I wanted to say also that I had really a great time making them. Today’s Koma Bijin Shiruko was also exquisite and pleasant to my body. I had never eaten anything similar to this. Mr. Idaki Shin had deliberately handmade them. They would surely make a person beautiful. Kaiun Zenzai satisfied everybody as it filled them with happiness. I was grateful and happy. Through special dishes I was realizing essential things about human life.
