Plum trees in Yasaka

In my teens I frequented Kyoto and Yasaka was my favorite place. Later in my life, Mr. Idaki Shin made me acknowledge that these places were historically associated with ancient people of Koguryo and their culture. Today on my way to Osaka I dropped in at Yasaka and beautiful plum flowers were in full bloom as I planned to open a temporary gallery of our works in Kyoto. The scenery was doubled with that of Koguryo in ancient times and a vision of our future as well. Though we were in a hurry I felt like tasting a rice cake selling at the Yasaka shrine that was said to protect people from evil, so I asked Mr. Idaki Shin to stop at the tea house to have some. For some reason I rejoiced very much and was filled with great hope for the future of our projects in Kyoto. I recalled that I had the same feeling when I was about to organize a very big concert in Niigata prefecture, which ended with huge success as I had anticipated from the beginning. So I became sure of wonderful results from our events in Kyoto. At Yasaka, all the souls seemed to welcome us and everything including evil spirits were ready to assimilate themselves with divine light.
