Beautiful space

Wishing to receive you from the bottom of my heart
I have made a space beyond our world
as you are coming from a remote place.
We are ready.
Gentle sunbeams of spring and soft light filled the space
with an elegant aroma, and a breeze is always blowing around.
A new spring is gloriously shining and a touch of the world far beyond
Has visited us, and its fragrance has mingled with
my sincere heart waiting for you.

At the Keiko Koma Skyrocket center, I newly created mind-scape curtains and tapestries wishing to renovate the space to receive more guests. I had a great time installing them. As I would go to Kyoto to hold a fair exhibition of handcrafted wooden plates that I named Koma-bon, expressing courtesy of Koguryo, I drew mind-scapes with gold foil on specially handcrafted lacquer painted plates. While working on them, I heard a voice of ancient people’s souls as they were preparing together with us to welcome the arrival of an authentic spring in the history of human kind. I was surrounded by an elegant atmosphere and breeze. I was going to make more mind-scape drawings at Yasaka.
