News from Lebanon

Today was the second day of the Idaki counseling courses and my body was heavily affected by negative energy from all the participants. During an interval I received, to my great encouragement and joy, a letter from Mr. Ghazi Khawaji from Lebanon telling me that our four concerts were commissioned this year in three cities in Lebanon ; on 30th Nov in Beirut as a part of the Beirut international book festival, on 2nd Dec at Palais d’UNESCO, on t4th Dec in Tyre and on 6th Dec in Bint Jibeil a southern city in Lebanon half destroyed by Israeli army’ bombs two years ago. He is also preparing a publication of my poems in Arabic in time for the festival. In addition we will hold at the Palais d’UNESCO hall an exhibition of my artistic works, the Mind-scape series. Because of two years of political instability, we have waited till today officially to fix our programs in Lebanon while Mr. Idaki Shin has been saying to put the first priority on realizing projects in Lebanon. I am extremely grateful to all the arrangements made by our Lebanese friends and I am sure that these events will contribute greatly to the advancement of peace in Lebanon and the rest of the world.
