Keep on winning to create a history

Mr. Idaki Shin said in his lecture today that because Koguryo was strong and fought back the Zui empire’s troops, Japan in ancient times was not invaded and could enjoy a relatively peaceful situation; one of the leaders of Japan, Soganoumako, greatly thanked a mission from Koguryo for this. His point was that we need another strong and good country for the stability of the actual East Asian district. I was very touched by this story. I felt not only myself but many souls were listening to today’s lecture and were grateful for his explanation of what actually happened in our history. Their grievances seemed to be wiped away. I acknowledged again the link between my life and my ancestors, kings of Koguryo, who kept on winning. They made me encounter Mr. Idaki Shin because they are still fighting to achieve their goal, to build a truly peaceful nation. The souls of people who dedicated their lives to build a good country for everybody shall never be defeated. I am filled with enormous hope to be alive. I know that anyone who can echo Mr. Idaki Shin’s life will see a marvelous result in his or her life. Therefore I always adjust myself to a state of life true to the ideas of Idaki. At night I went to my atelier and I enjoyed making a lot of art pieces. As Mr. Idaki Shin programmed many concerts and events this month that were designed to liberate our rigid state of consciousness, I have really experienced many changes in my life, and I could do things faster and better than before. Also in comparison with the behavior of ancient Koguryo troops in a battle field, I came to acknowledge how to do things most effectively, take decisions on the spot and make sure to achieve objectives. Their souls seemed to tell me that they should keep on winning, otherwise they could not survive. I still recall vividly the special music dedicated to king Kotai’s troop that was played by Mr. Idaki Shin at the last Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert in Kyoto. I will cherish this precious encounter with him, and swear to give him fruit for the rest of my life.
