The Sound of Shamisen

Mr. Idaki Shin played the Shamisen, a Japanese three string instrument, for this website’s new music. While I lovethe  sound of the guitar, that touches my heart and makes me feel dynamic life in the history of mankind, the sound of Shamisen is unfamiliar to me. Mr. Katsuaki said its sound reminded him of family warmth and lovely nature. Another volunteer said she felt Jawameku, a word in Tsugaru dialect meaning ‘extremely touched to her soul’. So I concentrated further on getting messages out of the music. I started to feel the core of my life that was connected to the world far beyond Heaven. I used to envision my heart reaching up beyond the large sky, but this time I saw my life was looking deeper and deeper into my internality, finally to encounter another cosmic world, the state of ultimate peace. This showed me how I have been in a state of unrest; I kept on working without taking a rest, and my heart was always beating fast, as if I were running all day long. The sound of Shamisen seemed to be telling me that if I were to continue like this, before long my heart beat would stop suddenly. I understood that taking a rest was a part of action in order to live a wonderful life that paves a way for a beautiful future. I realized the new sensation of peace at the bottom of my heart that embraced the vast universe. I felt my life was saved owing to the sound of Shamisen played by Mr. Idaki Shin that always showed me the sate of my life and the path to break through any shortcomings.
