At Yasaka

DVC00040.jpgToday also I had a great time looking up at the Yasaka tower over coffee at the Koma gallery Café at Yasaka. The special coffee served with a cup created by Mr. Idaki Shin was indeed marvelous and cookies hand made by Ms. Ai perfectly matched its taste. A slight bitterness of coffee was fused with a mildness of sweetness that made me feel happy. The Koma calligraphy was shining brilliantly in gold and looked three-dimensional as if it were a living creature.
From upstairs, I created a poem about the Yasaka tower and wrote it down in a handmade menu book decorated with mind-scape art works using Chiyogami papers. When a wind has blown Chiyogami papers, I run after them and, touched by a gust of wind, I realize voices of numerous souls of my ancient ancestor that have long been waiting for this moment to come. Though outside was very cold I felt a breeze of spring. My life rejoiced. All the visitors to my gallery also looked very happy. They exclaimed with joy and praised the space as it opened a new dimension of the world. I was happy to see that this gallery was steadily diffusing the principles and ideas of NPO KOMA. As it was demonstrating all what we have done, every instance, I became confident of our contributing to open up people’s future. As it became late at night, the night sky of Yasaka was in deep transparent blue and looked connected to Heaven. A thunderclap was heard and the dramatic day was over.
