Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert in Nara

20091217-20091217204147.jpgAs my concert in Nara approached I became excited and tense. During rehearsal, I was deeply influenced by various energies that made me nervous. However, I knew they were the sign of holding a dramatic and great concert. I felt as if an historic battle was waiting ahead of me. I recalled a passage from my poem about king Kotai that there was no choice but to win, otherwise we could not live on. As the concert started, Mr. Idaki Shin played the Japanese traditional drums and blew away cold and rigid energies that had overlapped my body. I realized at the core of my heart that a closed door was widely opened owing to the sound of his drums and I found myself connected with an eternal world. I could not narrate without shedding tears two poems that I had created in Nara entitled “Nara” and “At the ruins of Heijou palace”. I realized that numerous souls buried deep under the earth were revived and echoing to my poetic narrations of my soul. I acknowledged also the presence of numerous souls of Koguryo’s people. I was sure of heading for rebuilding our nation all together by starting to live a brilliant life enjoying huge richness of human internality.
