In Kyoto

Today we opened my gallery exhibition, entitled Keiko Koma Selection, at Shijou street in Kyoto. I took an early train to Kyoto and finalized the installation of the exhibits, while volunteer staff had started preparing it since yesterday. The owner of the gallery has been living at the same place in Kyoto for over four hundred years. The gallery was surrounded by an historic atmosphere where I was provided with unexpected and wonderful encounters. Often I have encountered a visitor who seemed to be guided by an unknown historic destiny. I became vigorous when I could talk about our Idaki activities as we could feel unity at heart as if we had been members of the same family. The gallery was filled with the energy of music by Mr. Idaki Shin and my art works were responding to it as they were shining beautifully like pure stars in a night sky. Every visitor seemed to be greatly attracted. Wishing to open up the future of humankind, I was heading for an Idaki Shin concert in Kyoto. I was happy to see that we were provided with a promising way for realizing a global peace. My internality was touched by a breeze with a happy color and joyfully I came back to Tokyo while Kyoto was another home of mine.
