From Yasaka

I went to Yasaka in order to have a long meeting to fix many things in our new coffee shop as its construction was in the final stage. Its gallery space was almost finished and looked wonderful. Many tourists were curiously looking inside to see what would be built. I used to be a visitor. However, after opening the shop, I would receive tourists from all over the world as an inhabitant of Kyoto. Everything was a learning process as I was creating a new space, and I enjoyed visiting traditional shops and restaurants that greatly inspired me to come up with new ideas. Breezes in Yasaka seemed to tell me of pains and grievances of people living here since ancient times. At the same time they were carrying voices of hope for the future as truth was manifesting itself in the actual world. Now we were heading for lecture & screening events in Kyoto and Nara entitled Night for Rebuilding a New Nation.

Winds of Yasaka
Standing at the land of Yasaka
I have envisioned light and shadow of its history
However, everything was moving forwards
As a light was coming down from the world
far beyond the universe.
It was working together with us
To open up a world of light where
Glorious light would manifest itself
At the core of each person’s depth of life.
