Departure

Soon after Mr. Idaki Shin said in his lecture that we would welcome a new year for Idaki from the latter half of this year, we started to receive commitment to our projects from three countries all at once. The vector of the world has really changed, and everything has started moving forward. Also today the embassy of Ethiopia to Japan contacted us and told us that a Japanese official delegation made an inspection visit to various parts of Ethiopia, and they were surprised at the magnitude of NPO KOMA’s water supply project in Gode, and representatives of the town of Gode asked them to deliver us the message of their deep gratitude for the water plant that we installed last year. I was very happy to see how people responded to our good will and testified our activities. It is time to materialize more and more real projects to show globally what we pledge as an ideal society.
Later today I went to Reika Salon space and made works of calligraphy. As I rubbed down an ink stick the space was filled with the atmosphere of Koguryo through the sweet aroma of black ink that reminded me of the unforgettable sensation I had before ancient black and white paintings with words at the historic museum of China I visited in the year 1998. I concentrated myself to trace my remote memory residing at the depth of my heart. While the ink stick was introduced to Japan by the people of Koguryo I felt the presence of numerous souls.. Listening to a piece of music dedicated to King Kotai with the sound of saxophone played by Mr. Idaki Shin, I felt that the tide of time has stopped. and then I encountered something divine. I sat down politely on the floor as in a traditional ceremony and I shed tears endlessly. The music touched my soul deeply. I realized th emeaning of my life and was encouraged enormously to pave a way for my dream, what I called a Light-scape of my mind; to get together at Mt. Gojo, the original place of Koguryo, with all of my friends who were shining brilliantly from within their lives as they were living lives true to their own nature. Everybody was crying out of joy and became a hope for global peace. A word came into my mind that told me ‘ Every instance testifies to the meaning of one’s life’. I acknowledged in each instance that one can meet with divine being and many souls of people whom one wished to meet. Then one lives a life filled with vigor to do anything. This year falls on the 25th anniversary of my activities for peace under the name of Idaki, so I will keep on expressing my sincere feelings and deepest wishes to anyone, and pave a way for a glorious future. I want to thank everybody for this special occasion.
