A summer festival

Today we had the second session of the Idaki Shin piano counseling courses and I investigated negative factors inherited within each participant’s life. As I verbalized them Mr. Idaki Shin played the piano in order fully to express them, allowing each to acknowledge correctly and finally to realize liberation. Though I have seen this marvelous treatment numerous times, today also I was greatly moved to have witnessed a miracle. On the way to my home, there was a traditional summer festival that made me recall that I used to go to participate in a similar festival every summer for a period of six years when I was an elementary school student. My mother had made me a special traditional garment called Yukata. One day I came across one of my class mates in a darkness beside the center circle of the event as if it were a torch light. We looked at each other’s faces and laughed loudly out of great joy. Thereafter I have anticipated some wonderful encounter, put on a Yukata to go to a festival event, and wandered around the venue. However such an impressive encounter has never occurred again. This memory came with a cozy summer breeze that was still vivid in my mind. So today also quite naturally I was looking for my classmate in the darkness outside the center circle of the event. I wondered why that encounter was perpetuated in my memory though it was nothing but a tiny happening. Presumably I was touched by the breeze of a soul, and it was the beginning of a new life guided by the world of souls.       .
