Watching the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert video at Café Akira
Tonight at café Akira we watched the video of the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert held on the 12th of May. I rejoiced as I wished to watch it as soon as possible to see what happened in this event. On stage, I concentrated to stand firmly at the center of the universe, otherwise I would be blown away by overwhelming energy. I felt the presence of numerous souls of people who live their lives truthfully to make everybody happy. Their tremendous power was surely joining us and collaborated to open up a new era of human kind. By way of his unique improvisation, Idaki Shin tackled walls of obstacles and darkness that were amalgamated into the minds of persons.
He absorbed them into the energy of his music that was leading towards the world far beyond Heaven, and changed them into light. This was a drastic solution to the roots of problems, and he did this at the risk of his life. For my part, I found myself in the middle of this incredible process, and was desperately narrating my poems, manifesting the soul of humankind. Therefore it would be quite difficult for anyone to understand what happened in the concert by watching its video only once or twice. Actually I was also at a loss from the beginning of the concert as to how to express this world displayed before my eyes that seemed to transcend everything. On hearing the music accompanying the images of an old capital of Koguryo, Jian, and of the Amnokwang river that traversed it, to my great surprise and joy, I was indeed in the world within the video. I was so happy and moved that I could not resist shedding tears endlessly from my heart. All of a sudden I found myself outside the world inside the video, and was watching the monitor from outside. I was still deeply attracted by the cherished scenery of Koguryo and the music of Idaki Shin.
I almost lost myself and wanted to cry out of yearning. I came to acknowledge that the ancient scenery of Koguryo, lived through by Koguryo’s people in the past, was reflected in the video of Jian nowadays, as the marvelous music of Idaki Shin was expressing not only scenery but everything. I would have let out a big scream if I were alone. Souls of Koguryo’s people within me were awakened, and they were crying, wishing to return home. People could cross the river freely in the time of Koguryo. However people today are separated as the river itself is the border. At this point, I could not resist dedicating myself to realize global peace. While I keep on expressing my sincere feelings and wishes in order to open up my way, more and more things to be done are entering into my mind. The Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered concert is always a bearing for global peace because this embraces the past, the present and the future, and shows me the meaning of my life, why I was born in this modern society.. Tomorrow as well we will hold a video screening of the same concert, and I am looking forwards to watching it again. anticipating understanding its deeper meaning.
