Express oneself to the full

I have an innate ability to envision energies in surrounding space and people’s internality . What I see is a kind of figure composed of light and a shadow of darkness and I can express it in language. From childhood I loved listening to music at home all day long, and I frequented live concerts. Sometimes my vision showed me the poor state of mind of a performer. When I listened to the music played by Idaki Shin I saw only my state of life because he was pure and transparent. Today what I saw within myself by listening to his music was calmness and action. I realized that one’s mind should be stable and peaceful when one is most dynamic and active. It has to get over numerous mountains before reaching this state of mind. Yesterday’s lecture on ontology by Mr. Idaki Shin taught me many essential things. I felt as if I was still in my teens and I was anxious to verify what I have learnt. However I woke up in the morning with pains in several parts of my body. I called Mr. Idaki Shin and asked him to help me. I envisioned many burdens of society piled on my back. From childhood I felt that society was a prison. By acknowledging the cause of burdens I was liberated. I remembered how marvelously Mr. Idaki Shin has displayed the true history of Koguryo and my life was saved. Further I could start a new life that allowed me to dedicate myself completely to realizing global peace; my deepest wish from childhood and the most cherished desire of all the kings of Koguryo as well. I wanted to share my precious experience with as many people as possible, so from the year 1998, I started to trace the history of Koguryo by visiting various countries and preparing the Legends of Koguryo Rediscovered project consisting of concerts and publication of a photo book, poems, CD and DVDs. Mr. Idaki Shin started playing the piano for me and I felt liberated. What I realized was the importance of expressing myself to the full, then I would never be affected by the power of the controlling system in society. I felt extremely obliged to him and went to give my poetic narration event tonight entitled Journey to Koguryo.
I have shown over 100 photos taken by Mr.Idaki Shin at various historic sites of Koguryo in the year 1998. As the direct descendent of Koguryo I knew very well how wonderfully these photos capture the light, winds and souls of Koguryo. Together with my poetic narration on Koguryo all of us enjoyed a wonderful night. We all felt like traveling together to the remote lands of Koguryo. The 17th of June coincided with the day when I went to Mt. Pektou for the first time and read a special poem on Tan-gun, the legendary hero of Koguryo. The expression of life is born out of daily activities so I am motivated as ever to take another step forward to peace and promote the anniversary concert on the 23rd of June.
