Departure day

Hydrangeas are in full bloom to bless Emi’s departure for Hungary. I felt lonely but I chinned up because our lives are unified with nature and are always paving a way for the future. Two years ago we watched a television program reporting about the situation of Lebanon after thirty days of air strikes by Israeli air forces. It was when we were organizing a series of concerts wishing to get everybody’s heart together and stop the bombings. I heard from Emi that she wanted to do something for injured people at the battle field she saw in the program and she told me later that it was the moment when she made up her mind to study abroad to become somebody who could contribute to them. I recalled also how she was deeply motivated to do something when I showed her the video I filmed during my first trip to a drought hit town in Ethiopia. Numerous people and children were suffering from fatal diseases and hunger
Being myself very close to her, I know very well how lonesome it is for her to go abroad by herself and live a life separated from us, especially from her father Mr. Idaki Shin. However, I considered her mission important and rejoiced just to imagine how many people would be saved. When one person’s deepest wishes will be realized the entire world will change dramatically. Today I went to Narita airport to see her off. I thought a lot about her future life, finally to bear hope, because our lives were unified and always paving a way for peace. I anticipated something wonderful would happen. The origin of life is one, and love shall prevail all over. I am confident that our goals are materializing one after another. At ten o’clock at night in Lebanon tonight and at four o’clock in the morning tomorrow in Japan time, Idaki Shin’s Saadabad Palace concert program “Peace Message” will be broadcast by a Lebanese television station, TeleLiban, covering all the middle east countries including Iran. I hope this broadcast provides another precious opportunity to acknowledge the unity of everybody’s mind.
My English website, Keikokoma.net are receiving wonderful messages from more Lebanese people who have visited it, so I encourage everybody to keep on paving a way for the peaceful future full of hope.
