Today Master Idaki Shin gave a piano concert at Kaze-no-Hall of the Mitaka City Arts Center. I listened to the wonderful concert message, receiving each and every word in my heart—a message that could only be heard by listening quietly and deeply, with a clear heart.
The sound of the piano was as delicate as the words of the message, infinitely clear, beautiful, and pure. The sound of the piano was deep, and it seemed as if many worlds were coming together. My soul was shaken, and I was deeply moved. At the same time, it was so pleasant that, rather than trying to put into words this deeply moving sensation that no words could express, I simply wished to remain here. The instant it suddenly became a word, I found myself softly uttering, “Future.”
“Maybe this is where the future is.” For the first time, the world I had imagined through the word “future” fell away. I experienced a time and space in which there was neither now nor future. There was also a moment when I suddenly felt, “So, I have come from the future,” and a smile arose within me. Each moment, free, joyful, and pleasant, was wonderful.
In the second part, I had an experience that became the words, “Transcending life and death.” I have always lived in fear of death.
The moment I felt that I had transcended life and death, death was neither fearful nor the end, and there was no time. Transcending dimensions, I experienced a world I would describe as eternity. Being able to experience in my body the “eternity” I had desired most, I wished only that I could remain here forever.
Afterwards, I heard that he had received into his body the energy that was coming to an end and had expressed its liberation, and it made sense to me. My heart had also been hurting, but when the pain left toward the end, I knew with my life that I had been saved.
I felt hope that, from today, I could change the way I had unknowingly thought and lived toward an end, and I became filled with gratitude, joy, and hope that no expression could ever fully convey. Thank you very much.
