I made my way down the mountain pass from rain-soaked Mount Hiei into Kyoto. Along the route, the yellow-green bamboos were so vivid and stunning that I felt energy, as though living creatures were moving, and I was deeply moved. I always wish from my heart to live united with the life of nature.
Today, at the IDAKI Kyoto Office, we held Master Idaki Shin's Applied Course and “Ontology” lecture. The message from his recent concerts—"not leaving the body behind"—was also a theme of the course, and through many scenes of daily life I have come to understand clearly what it means to be in a state where the body is, or is not, left behind. Today too, during the lecture, the suffering of last night's sleeplessness surfaced just as it was, and I felt a rush of anxiety about what to do. At that moment, I received a message from my body, "Listen to what Master Idaki Shin is saying." The instant I listened in earnest, I regained my body: heat spread through me, and I even broke into a sweat. The talk became deeply clear to me. And heading toward the future, I found myself filled with hope and motivation. The words "Japan is pivotal in the world" resonated at the very core of my life. I live wishing for the realization of world peace, and within activities here in Japan I can see peace coming to fruition, which fills me with deep joy and gratitude. I am profoundly grateful that we can create a path from Japan toward a world in which peace can surely be realized, and each day, I will continue our activities while embodying what Master Idaki Shin conveys with the full force of his being about what it means to be a human being.
A single day that deepens so profoundly the meaning of being alive was an irreplaceable day. I am sincerely grateful. And I will move forward and build on my experiences. Thank you very much.
