Messages from Keiko Koma

27th Nov. 2022 / in Kyoto

On the mountain road from Mt. Hiei down to Kyoto, colorful tree leaves come fluttering down like rain. Green, yellow, reddish brown, red—it’s a strikingly beautiful sight. And on the way from Kyoto Concert Hall to Koma-ya at the south corner of the Imperial Palace, we cross a beautiful river and see the bustling trees of the palace. Its stunning scenery enjoyed only in autumn can be seen in Kyoto at this time. Writing the “Life Poem” of each person at the Legendary Cafe of Koguryo, I see that the light of human life is eternal. At the eagerly awaited concert of Master Idaki Shin at Kyoto Concert Hall, the word “eternal”—something I had most yearned for since childhood—was used in the titles. They were “Eternity of Being” and “Loving Eternity.” I was excited at the concert themes, which I most longed to understand. And the significance of the concert experience was beyond my imagination, and I once again had a life-changing experience. Becoming unified with God, I experienced eternity beyond time without beginning or end. I actually understood how it was when I was born, and I understood the meaning of being born through the experience when I recognized my life from the moment I came into this world and how it was before I existed. It was an amazing experience. It was pleasant as if to be blown by the wind of eternity, and I hoped from the bottom of my heart to live here forever. Tomorrow, we have another concert at Biwako Hall. I cannot wait to experience it. Thank you very much.
