Messages from Keiko Koma

21st Feb. 2021

My life knows deeply that it is human nature to want to work to contribute to other people, the world, and the future. Listening to Master Idaki Shin's lecture, I understand, so as to see it, that in the frameworks of society, limits are imposed on a person's head that keeps one's thought in certain bounds. I'm truly grateful that when I become aware of it, my head is freed from frameworks. Demand in the depth of my life contributes to the world and creates a world where people can live globally. When I, around ten years old, learned on the news about children dying of hunger in Africa, a life-changing shock shook me all over. I thought seriously about a solution, but all I could come up with was to try to put myself in their shoes by not eating. I still remember that time when I was crying. One day, when I learned that 18 million lives were at risk from famine caused by droughts in Ethiopia. It ignited what I felt in my childhood. I started going to Ethiopia to provide support for the situation. Together with the Ethiopian government, we successfully held Master Idaki Shin's concert, a way to a fundamental solution, in Ethiopia, attracting an audience of 110,000 people. While we worked toward the concert, some Ethiopian people asked us to take up the coffee business, which we still carry on today. I started wishing and praying for world peace when I was around three years old. I still live now hoping to realize world peace. To achieve it, I wish to grow and cultivate my ability at all times so that I can contribute to other people and the world. At Master Idaki Shin's lectures and concerts, I change and grow each time and experience love, supremely important for a human being. Building on my rich experiences, I want to work toward realizing world peace every day. Today, I attended Master Idaki Shin's entrepreneur salon course, and I was delighted and hopeful as I made a big leap and experienced being free from my head's frameworks. Tomorrow, we have a concert in Shibuya. Grateful that I can grow and jump again, I hope that its energy is transmitted to the world. Thank you very much.
